ABOUT ME
A/Prof Sarah Shigdar has been developing aptamers, or chemical antibodies, since 2009. Her work has been recognised locally through the Smart Geelong Awards (2011 and 2013), nationally by the CASS Foundation (2013) and internationally by the International Society on Aptamers (INSOAP), who asked her to take on the role of President in 2016.
